General Summary:



TheMultimedia Technologies Program Manageris responsible forend-to-end planning, execution governance, and delivery predictabilityof Multimedia technology programs across semiconductor platforms andXRproduct segments.
This role ownsPlan of Record (POR)commitments by orchestrating cross-functional execution acrossmultimedia software and hardware stacks, ensuringclear, decision-ready transparency to leadership. The role operates at the intersection oftechnology depth, execution rigor, and stakeholder leadership, enabling scalable delivery across multiple SoCs, customers, and market segments.

Key Responsibilities
1. Program & POR Ownership
  • Ownend-to-end Multimedia technology planningacross lifecycle phases:
    Pre-silicon→ Bring-up → SOD → Customer Ship

  • Define, maintain, and driveMultimedia Plan of Record (POR)across system and product cycles.

  • Ensuremilestone ownership, traceability, and delivery accountabilityfor features and deliverables.

  • Drive alignment across multiple Multimedia programs, platforms, and releases.

2. Execution Governance
  • Drive execution governance across Multimedia workstreams, including: 

  • Feature request (FR) and scope alignment

  • Release readiness and closure reviews

  • Dependency and integration tracking

  • Proactively identifyexecution risks, conflicts, and gaps, and drive mitigation to closure.

  • Ensure delivery predictability across internal and customer-facing milestones.

3. Resource & Capacity Management
  • Ownresource planning and capacity visibilityfor Multimedia programs.

  • Drive staffing plans, gap analysis,Level-of-Effort (LoE)estimates, and overage tracking.

  • Enableprogram-level cost, capacity, and risk transparencyfor leadership decision-making.

  • Partner with engineering and functional leaders to align resourcing with POR commitments.

4. Stakeholder & Leadership Management
  • Act as thesingle point of coordinationacross: 

  • Engineering teams (software, hardware, systems)

  • Product Management / Technical Product Managers

  • Business Unit & Target Program Managers

  • Executive leadership

  • Provideclear dashboards, execution updates, and executive-level summaries.

  • Present trade-offs, escalations, and recommendations with ownership and clarity.

5. Process, Metrics & Continuous Improvement
  • Define, maintain, and continuously improveMultimedia program KPIs, dashboards, and execution metrics.

  • Drive automation, reporting efficiency, and AI/tool adoptionwhereapplicable.

  • Ensure adherence to internal development, release, and compliance processes.

  • Foster consistent execution rigor acrossgeographies, organizations, and partners.


Qualifications
Education
  • Minimum:B.E. /B.Techin Engineering
    (Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related discipline)

Experience
  • 10+ yearsof experience in theHiTech / Semiconductor / Platform Software industry

  • Proven experience inTechnology Program Management / Engineering Program Management

  • Strong exposure to one or more of: 

  • Multimedia systems (audio, video, display, vision, ISP, graphics)

  • Platform software in SoC-based environments

  • Cross-layer hardware/software integration

Skills & Attributes
  • Strong execution rigor, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to operate atengineering depth and executive altitude

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Experience managinglarge, cross-geo, cross-discipline programs

  • Comfortable driving ambiguity, scale, and complexity in fast-paced environments




Minimum Qualifications:



• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of Program Management or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:



• 5+ years of Program Management or related work experience.



• 1+ year of experience working in a large matrixed organization.



• 1+ year of experience with program management tools such as dashboards, Gantt charts, etc.




Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supports the establishment of program goals and prioritizes deliverables under minimal supervision of Program Management stakeholders.
• Manages and takes responsibility for multiple small programs/technology with minimal complexity or a single program/technology with moderate complexity by applying up-to-date program management knowledge to meet deadlines.
• Builds and manages the execution of the Plan of Record (e.g., on time, on budget, within scope) for multiple small programs or a single medium sized program, which includes schedule and resource forecasting, stakeholder identification, method and frequency of communication, scope, and prioritization.
• Tracks all key metrics pertaining to a program, provides early warning for potential metric deviations and escalates in timely manner when metrics deviate significantly from Plan of Record.
• Coordinates the work of a small team on assigned tasks with guidance and maintains progress in tracking system.
• Identifies program issues/risks and creates a risk mitigation plan for multiple small programs or a single medium-sized program. Maintains and updates the risk tracker.
• Supports team vision and objectives by motivating team.
• ​Supports the compliance of processes by following best practices and procedures and providing observations for process improvement.




Level of Responsibility:
• Working under some supervision.
• Making decisions that are low to moderate in impact; errors may have relatively minor financial impact or effect on projects, operations, or customer relationships; errors may require involvement beyond immediate work group to correct.
• Using verbal and written communication skills to convey information that may be somewhat complex to others who may have limited knowledge of the subject in question. May require basic negotiation and influence, cooperation, tact, and diplomacy, etc.
• Completing tasks with multiple steps that can be performed in various orders; some planning and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively; mistakes may result in some rework.
• Exercising creativity to draft original documents, imagery, or work products within established guidelines.
• Using deductive and inductive problem solving; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; often information is missing or incomplete; intermediate data analysis/interpretation skills may be required. 




The responsibilities of this role do not include:
• Financial accountability (e.g., does not involve budgeting responsibility).
• Influence over key organizational decisions.
• Role in strategic planning.
