NOC Head

Jobskey Consultancy is hiring a NOC Lead / NOC Head for a growing ISP. This is a senior role responsible for managing network operations, leading incident response, and ensuring high network availability and performance.

Role Overview

The NOC Lead will act as the central point of control for network operations, handling critical incidents, managing the NOC team, and ensuring SLA compliance across the network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Incident & Outage Management
• Lead critical incident handling as the primary escalation point for P1 issues
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
• Coordinate with vendors and upstream providers for issue resolution

Team Leadership & Operations

• Manage 24/7 NOC operations including shift planning and handovers
• Mentor and train engineers on protocols like BGP, OSPF, and MPLS
• Ensure adherence to troubleshooting standards and documentation quality

Network Monitoring & Performance

• Monitor network performance and ensure SLA compliance (MTTR)
• Identify capacity constraints and support bandwidth planning
• Optimize monitoring tools to improve alert accuracy and efficiency

Communication & Reporting

• Provide timely updates to management and internal stakeholders
• Prepare daily network health and performance reports
• Manage and approve maintenance activities and change requests

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in ISP / telecom network operations
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS
• Experience in handling critical incidents and outage management
• Proven team management and leadership skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
