Gearbox Design & Analysis Engineer (Transmission3D)

3 years of min. experience in Design and Analysis of Gear Box .

work location - Japan onsite (immediate requirement).

• Key Responsibilities:
• Design and analyze gearbox and transmission systems using Transmission3D software (ANSOL).
• Perform gear calculations including strength, durability, efficiency, and life estimation.
• Conduct detailed analysis of gear geometry, contact stress, bending stress, and lubrication.
• Develop and optimize gearbox designs based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and testing.
• Support prototype development, validation, and testing activities.
• Troubleshoot and improve existing gearbox designs.
• Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design of gearboxes/transmissions.
• Hands-on experience in design and analysis using Transmission3D (analysis software provided by ANSOL).
• Strong understanding of gear design principles and mechanical systems.
• Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in aerospace product design is preferred.
• Knowledge of NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) analysis.
• Experience with FEA tools is an advantage.
