We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Expert Product to manage and enhance our payment gateway ecosystem.
The individual will primarily be responsible for driving new product features, customer experience improvements, payment method enablement, and market launches across the gateway ecosystem.
The ideal candidate should possess strong product management capabilities, a solid understanding of digital payment ecosystems, and the ability to translate business and operational requirements into functional product features and enhancements.
What does a Expert Product – Payment Gateway do?
Define e-commerce product workflows, transaction journeys, operational logic, and user experience requirements.
Drive enablement of alternate payment methods including cards, wallets, QR payments, bank transfers, Google / Apple Pay and BNPL solutions.
Manage and enhance recurring payment and tokenized payment solutions, including customer consent flows, card-on-file/token lifecycle management, subscription payment journeys, and compliance with scheme and security requirements.
Own the lifecycle of gateway features from ideation to implementation and post-launch stabilization.
Prepare and maintain BRDs, PRDs, process flows, API requirements, user stories, and operational documentation.
Conduct thorough testing of online payments integrations to identify and resolve any bugs or issues.
Identify areas for improvement in the e-commerce payment process and collaborate with relevant teams to implement enhancements.
Analyze transaction data to detect patterns and trends, contributing to risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure all gateway products and features comply with regulatory, operational, and security standards.
Work with Product leadership to plan and deliver value added features into the JazzCash Payment Gateway.

What are we looking for and what does it require to be a Expert Product – Payment Gateway?
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
At least 2-4 years of experience in payments domain, preferably in fintech or banking industry.
Strong understanding of payment gateway architecture, transaction flows, merchant acquiring, and digital payment ecosystems.
Experience in managing product enhancements, feature rollouts, and payment product implementations.
Knowledge of Visa, Mastercard, 1LINK, wallets, and alternate payment ecosystems.
Familiarity with APIs, payment processing systems, and technical product discussions.
Ability to manage multiple product initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
