Job Title: Compliance Program Coordinator

The Compliance Program Coordinator supports the organization’s security and compliance program by coordinating control evidence collection, monitoring compliance activities, and helping maintain audit readiness for frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.

This role ensures that compliance controls are operating effectively and that required evidence is collected, organized, and maintained throughout the audit period. The position works cross-functionally with Infrastructure, DevSecOps, HR, Finance, and Delivery teams to ensure consistent adherence to security and operational policies.

The Compliance Program Coordinator acts as the central coordinator of the evidence program, ensuring continuous audit readiness and reducing last-minute audit preparation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance Program Coordination
• Coordinate the organization’s SOC 2 and ISMS compliance activities
• Track evidence collection for defined control activities
• Maintain compliance dashboards and evidence repositories
• Monitor evidence submission deadlines and follow up with control owner
• Evidence Management
  
• Ensure compliance evidence is properly collected, documented, and stored
• Validate completeness and accuracy of evidence artifacts
• Maintain structured evidence libraries for internal and external audits
• Standardize naming conventions and evidence documentation
• Audit Readiness
• Support preparation for SOC 2 audits, internal audits, and customer security assessments
• Organize audit evidence packages
• Assist auditors during audit fieldwork
• Track audit findings and remediation activities
• Control Monitoring
• Monitor control health across departments
• Identify missing or weak evidence
• Escalate compliance gaps to control owners and management
• Process Improvement
• Identify opportunities to automate evidence collection
• Improve compliance processes and documentation
• Assist with updates to security policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Education: MBA degree or a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:

• Management Sciences
• Accounting and Finance
• Economics
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with compliance automation tools (CompAI, Drata, Vanta, etc.)
• Experience supporting external security audits
