Associate Consultant - DC Integration

We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator with strong expertise in IBM AIX and Power Systems, along with Linux administration across x86 and IBM Z environments. The role focuses on managing enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, performance optimization, and ensuring high system availability.

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain IBM AIX on IBM Power Systems

  
  
  

• Manage LPARs, VIOS, Shared Processor Pools, and perform Dynamic LPAR (DLPAR) operations

  
  
  

• Perform AIX OS upgrades, Technology Level (TL), Service Pack (SP) updates, and system patching

  
  
  

• Monitor and tune system performance (CPU, memory, and I/O)

  
  
  

• Troubleshoot AIX kernel, filesystem, disk, and boot-related issues

  
  
  

• Administer PowerVM virtualization and perform capacity planning

  
  
  

• Administer Linux distributions (RHEL, SUSE, Oracle Linux) on x86 (Intel/AMD) platforms

  
  
  

• Install, harden, patch, and upgrade Linux operating systems

  
  
  

• Configure and manage virtualization technologies such as KVM and VMware

  
  
  

• Provide support for Linux on IBM Z (zLinux) environments

  
  
  

• Implement and manage enterprise storage, backup solutions, and networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, bonding)

  
  
  

• Utilize strong command-line and scripting skills (Shell, Bash, Korn shell)

  
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

  
  
  

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM AIX administration on IBM Power Systems

  
  
  

• Proven expertise in IBM Power Systems (POWER8/9/10), PowerVM, and VIOS

  
  
  

• Solid experience administering Linux systems on x86 platforms

  
  
  

• Working knowledge of Linux on IBM Z (zLinux) environments
