In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As an Application Developer specializing in Open Source, you will develop, support, and maintain applications using open source development platforms. You will utilize your expertise in open source technologies to analyze and resolve issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Develop and Maintain Applications: Develop, support, and maintain applications using open source development platforms such as C, C++, Perl, Python, Node JS, and Django, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet client needs. * Analyze and Resolve Issues: Utilize expertise in open source technologies to analyze and resolve issues, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure minimal disruption to clients. * Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions, providing technical guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes. * Provide Technical Guidance: Offer technical guidance and support to clients on open source platform implementation, customization, and integration, ensuring seamless adoption and optimal usage. * Implement Solutions: Implement solutions that meet client needs, leveraging expertise in open source technologies to deliver high-quality results.

Preferred technical and professional experience
