In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As an Application Developer specializing in Microsoft Power Platform, you will design, build, and maintain applications that automate business processes and create engaging user experiences. You will leverage the capabilities of PowerApps, PowerAutomate, Power Pages, Dataverse, Power Virtual Agent, and Copilot to deliver innovative solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Design and Build Applications: Create and support solutions that leverage the capabilities of Microsoft Power Platform, focusing on automating business processes and streamlining workflows. * Maintain and Support Solutions: Ensure the continued functionality and performance of existing applications, providing technical support and troubleshooting as needed. * Develop Conversational AI Experiences: Use Power Virtual Agent and Copilot to create engaging user experiences through conversational AI, enhancing user interaction and overall application usability. * Automate Business Processes: Utilize PowerAutomate to automate workflows and business processes, increasing efficiency and reducing manual effort. * Leverage Dataverse Capabilities: Effectively use Dataverse to manage and integrate data, ensuring seamless application functionality and data consistency.

Required technical and professional expertise

* Microsoft Power Platform Development: Experience with designing, building, and maintaining applications using PowerApps, PowerAutomate, Power Pages, Dataverse, Power Virtual Agent, and Copilot. * Conversational AI Implementation: Experience with developing conversational AI experiences using Power Virtual Agent and Copilot to enhance user interaction and application usability. * Business Process Automation: Experience with utilizing PowerAutomate to automate workflows and business processes, increasing efficiency and reducing manual effort. * Data Management and Integration: Experience with leveraging Dataverse to manage and integrate data, ensuring seamless application functionality and data consistency. * Technical Troubleshooting: Experience with providing technical support and troubleshooting for existing applications, ensuring continued functionality and performance.

Preferred technical and professional experience

* Power BI Integration Knowledge: Exposure to integrating Power BI with Microsoft Power Platform to enhance data visualization and reporting capabilities. * Azure Services Familiarity: Experience working with Azure services, such as Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure Active Directory, to extend Microsoft Power Platform solutions. * DevOps Practices Understanding: Exposure to implementing DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), to improve the efficiency and reliability of Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
