In this role, the person must:
SUPPORT AND HELP THE DECISION-MAKING PROCESS WITHIN STELLANTIS ENGINEERING
- Prepare summaries of key messages and ensure topics are ready for governance/team meetings.
- Filter escalations to make sure decisions are made at the right level.
- Set up agendas and send out meeting minutes for meetings they are in charge of.
- Make sure information is shared and follow up on actions decided in meetings.
ORGANIZE AND LEAD INTERNAL GOVERNANCE AND ITS CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
- Organize the typical agenda for management, including interactions with partners.
- Reporting and follow-up: update major indicators and dashboards for management.
- Ensure that official data reported for engineering (activity reports, social and environmental reports, etc.) is consistent, as needed.
- Share feedback from the field and propose improvements.
- Share/standardize best management and/or organizational practices.
- Manage cross-functional summaries that affect how management operates (e.g., list of associations, partial unemployment, on-site presence within the framework of NEA, etc.).
PREPARE FOR THE FUTURE AND SUPPORT TRANSFORMATION
- Implement the Group's strategic and efficiency plans at the management level.
- Set goals and their related indicators.
- Participate in all change management initiatives, define related communication plans, and implement them.
- Provide technological content for communication events (e.g., conferences).
- Implement the integration path in line with those of the company and the division.
- Attend meetings of external organizations/automotive associations that management is part of (if applicable).
MANAGE ALL ACTIONS RELATED TO COMPLIANCE (ETHICS, REGULATORY) AND RISK MANAGEMENT
- Manage and implement compliance goals at the sub-entity level.
- Training: ensure the expected completion rate by the deadline for regulatory training.
- Ensure processes are followed and traceable.
- Share feedback from the field and compliance issues.
- Manage the risk portfolio of management and audit recommendations assigned to management:
- Ensure regular updates on actions and recommendations by designated pilots.
- Share the status of action plans with the management team (consistency of progress with deadlines, alerts in case of issues).
- Report risks, requirements, or needs of the entity/management.
- Define the list of expected regulatory compliance assessments (Cybersecurity, Privacy, Safety, etc.) according to the upcoming vehicle launch schedule and ensure official sharing at the level defined by governance rules.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organizational scope covered: local engineering, at the level of a technical center OR global scope of a meta function
- Ensure decisions are made at the lowest possible level in the organization.
- Ensure deadlines are met for actions and issues identified in meeting minutes.
- Ensure the content of indicators and dashboards is updated and relevant.
- Harmonize best management practices.
- Represent the Company to external organizations/automotive associations (if applicable).
- Ensure the adoption of the Group's code of conduct and ethics rules.
- Ensure the application of governance rules on regulatory compliance of our products and services.
WORK RELATIONSHIPS
- With the R&D Directors of local engineering (Engineering Hub Lead) or the global meta function (Global function lead): relay messages and provide strategic advice.
- With the management team: lead the management team.
- With field teams: ensure information feedback and dissemination.
- With peers (other technical secretaries and business development managers of functions): share best practices and implement the objectives and approaches of the N+1 management and the Group.
Required profile :
- 5 to 8 years of experience
- Experience in various engineering roles
- Writing management communications and organizing events
- Broad and detailed knowledge of engineering processes and administration, financial management, and human resources
- Knowledge of rules and constraints related to compliance (internal, regulatory, etc.)
- English: able to lead international meetings with negotiation and compromise (equivalent to B2 level minimum)
