Reporting to the Strategy and Development Department, the Data Lab brings together skills in Data Science, AI, and Software Engineering to design, develop, and deploy operational solutions that improve the company's processes, products, and services. The team has about thirty people spread across Paris, Toronto, and Casablanca.

The Data Lab seeks to implement best development practices, mainly in Python but also in React and Java, and manages CI/CD pipelines to deploy applications and APIs on Docker/Kubernetes infrastructures, on Apache Airflow, and in the Cloud.

The projects are numerous and varied with short development deadlines and concrete implementations, for example:

• Information extraction from images and documents
• Integration of open data and web scraping
• Construction and exploitation of graph databases
• Search engine specialized in company identification
• Data valorization API for major international clients

Training and technological watch on dedicated time, as well as knowledge sharing through presentations among team members, are part of the Data Lab's operating method.

The missions: 

• You develop solutions deployed on our container infrastructures or in the cloud, and you implement production monitoring.
• You participate in code reviews of other team members to share knowledge and ensure the quality of developments.
• You propose technical solutions and participate in technological watch.

• Engineering degree or equivalent
• Two years or more of experience in a similar role
• Python application development with high-quality standards and the implementation of good practices for code reviews and continuous integration.
• Use of SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Neo4j, ElasticSearch, Redis...)
• Implementation of monitoring dashboards (Kibana, Grafana)
• Autonomy, curiosity, teamwork, and knowledge sharing
• Communication in English (projects in international contexts)

Appreciated skills: 

• Implementation of CI/CD chains and Docker/Kubernetes deployment
• Design of high-availability application architectures
• Skills in data science-oriented libraries (e.g. Pandas)
• Knowledge of Linux administration
• Deployment of applications in the cloud and infrastructure-as-code
• Front-end programming (React or Angular or Vue.js...)
