Software Engineer Python / DevOps | Casablanca (Morocco)

Reporting to the Strategy and Development Department, the Data Lab brings together Data Science, AI, and Software Engineering skills to design, develop, and deploy operational solutions that improve the company's processes, products, and services. The team has about thirty people spread across Paris, Toronto, and Casablanca.

The Data Lab aims to implement best development practices, mainly in Python but also in React and Java, and manages CI/CD pipelines to deploy applications and APIs on Docker/Kubernetes infrastructure, on Apache Airflow, and in the Cloud.

There are many diverse projects with short development deadlines and concrete implementations, for example:

• Extracting information from images and documents
• Integrating open data and web scraping
• Building and operating graph databases
• A search engine specialized in identifying companies
• Data valorization API for large international clients

Training and technological watch on dedicated time, as well as knowledge sharing through team presentations, are part of the Data Lab's operating model.

The missions:

• You will develop solutions deployed on our container infrastructures or in the cloud, and you will set up production monitoring
• You will participate in code reviews with other team members to share knowledge and ensure development quality
• You will propose technical solutions and participate in technological watch

• Engineering degree or equivalent
• Two or more years of experience in a similar role
• Python application development with high-quality standards and implementation of good practices for code reviews and continuous integration.
• Use of SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Neo4j, ElasticSearch, Redis...)
• Setting up monitoring dashboards (Kibana, Grafana)
• Autonomy, curiosity, teamwork, and knowledge sharing
• English communication (projects in international contexts)

Appreciated skills:

• Implementation of CI/CD pipelines and Docker/Kubernetes deployment
• Design of high-availability application architectures
• Skills in data science-oriented libraries (e.g. Pandas)
• Knowledge of Linux administration
• Cloud application deployment and infrastructure-as-code
• Front-end programming (React or Angular or Vue.js...)
