Hydraulics Engineer | Fès (Morocco)

We are looking for a "Hydraulics Engineer" profile for our Entity in Fès

Main tasks of the position:

• Examine and study annual investment budgets, forecast programs, and multi-year investment plans for the Water sector;
• Monitor the implementation of investment budgets and carry out controls of investment projects through site visits;
• Evaluate investment files;
• Examine tender files and assist in the market award process (administrative opening, technical opening, validation of the technical judgment report, financial opening …) ;
• Contribute to and examine the update of the unit price list -BPU-.
• Prepare and launch technical audits, and monitor their implementation;
• Audit the implemented technical procedures;
• Monitor technical performance by ensuring contractual objectives are met;
• Follow the evolution of techniques, technologies, standards, and regulations;
• Control the improvement of network management and operation and ensure the implementation of the necessary means and tools for technical management;
• Ensure the maintenance and updating of network maps on the GIS;
• Ensure the implementation of decisions made by the Monitoring Committee regarding investments.

Profile sought:

• State Engineer diploma or equivalent in Hydraulics, Civil Engineering .
• Experience of 2 to 6 years in the Hydraulics field.
• Proficiency in public procurement regulations.
• Good command of computer tools (Microsoft Office)
• Proficiency in technical software related to the activity.
