Foreign Operations Manager | Casablanca (Morocco)

Reporting to the Finance and Management Control Department, your main tasks are:

• The Foreign Operations Manager is responsible for supervising foreign exchange operations, managing international payment techniques, and analyzing cash flows to ensure effective liquidity management. They also ensure compliance with regulations and maintain proactive relationships with banking partners, while minimizing financial risks related to currency fluctuations.

Job Activities:

• Foreign exchange operations: Supervise foreign exchange transactions for import/export operations, minimizing exchange rate risks.
• Financial analysis: Conduct analyses to improve cash flow management, interest rates, and identify investment opportunities.
• Bank relationship management: Maintain proactive relationships with banks.
• Compliance: Perform KYC for foreign suppliers and request approvals from the exchange office.
• Operations monitoring: Manage export/import hedging, non-recourse discounting operations, and foreign service provisions.
• Repatriations and settlements: Monitor export repatriations and foreign supplier payments, control interest rates and exchange rate variations.
• Guarantees and payments monitoring: Control foreign supplier payment requests and conduct statistical surveys for the exchange office.
• Investment inventory: Monitor fund investments and analyze accounts to evaluate performance.
• Monitoring and processing of international payment techniques: Manage transfer operations, documentary credits, and documentary collections.

Education and Experience:

• Master's degree (Bac +5) in Finance, Accounting.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in treasury management tools (SAP, SAGE, e-banking).
• Solid analytical skills to track financial flows and accounts.
• In-depth knowledge of banking rules and procedures.
• Ability to supervise a team and monitor internal processes.
• Excellent skills in managing banking relationships and resolving complaints.
• Skills in collaborative work, active listening, time management, conflict management, and responding to manager expectations.
