Electricity Manager | Rabat (Morocco)

We are looking for an "Electricity Manager" profile with 5 years or more of experience.

Main mission: Ensure the monitoring and control of investment projects within the electricity sector, from programming to commissioning, guaranteeing their contractual, regulatory, and financial compliance, as well as the quality of execution of connection and hook-up works carried out as part of the public distribution service.

Main responsibilities:

• Analysis of investment budgets – Review of annual budgets and monitoring of their consumption with variance analysis.
• Tender control – Verification of technical files and assessments with recommendations.
• Investment project monitoring – Monitoring of physical project progress and management of variances.
• Coordination with distributors – Leading meetings for project monitoring, budgets, and corrective actions.
• Valuation and Unit Price List (BPU) control – Analysis of valuation files and verification of the unit price list.
• Technical project evaluation – Analysis of preliminary studies and compliance with technical and regulatory standards.
• Work and HSE compliance control – Verification of work execution, safety, environment, and regulatory compliance.
• Strategic planning and studies – Analysis of master plans, five-year plans, and identification of future network needs.
• Complaint management and reporting – Handling complaints, contributing to technical reports, and monitoring indicators.
• Management, internal coordination, and traceability – Supervising teams, inter-cell coordination, dashboard monitoring, reporting, and archiving.

Required education and skills:

• State Engineer's degree (Bac+5) in Electrical Engineering/Electrotechnics or equivalent.
• Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in electricity distribution or related fields, particularly those involving electrical works.
• Good knowledge of tools and software related to the field of Electricity.
• Mastery of standards and regulations applicable to electricity distribution.
• Good knowledge of tender procedures and applicable contract award rules.
• Good mastery of project management techniques.
