Design Engineer Drinking Water and Sanitation | Salé, Technopolis (Morocco)

Reporting to the Drinking Water and Sanitation Department, your mission is:

• Upon request, as part of tenders, contribute to the preparation of subsets of technical offers, according to the instructions of the project manager or DEPA Director
• Design work as part of assigned projects
• Ensure the collection of necessary data for projects, organize and summarize it
• Contribute to setting the conditions for the execution of the work by carrying out the requested sizing work, using appropriate techniques or software, according to the required quality, in compliance with technical standards and within the deadlines and costs constraints
• Translate data expressed in any other format (client constraints, regulatory requirements, environmental constraints, drawings, etc.) into technical data (calculation notes, plans, financial estimates, etc.)
• Carry out design work for elements or sub-assemblies of the work and/or the requested study, with the required degree of precision and uncertainty depending on the nature of the study (feasibility study, preliminary study, detailed study, etc.)
• Contribute to the integration work of the project by managing the production of technical deliverables (execution plans, launch plans, site plans, etc.) while optimizing solutions from a technical and economic point of view
• Prepare notes and reports as part of assigned projects
• Upon request, contribute to the preparation of audit or expertise reports
• Contribute to project management on an administrative level (tracking stages, tracking contractual deadlines, preparing reporting)
• Upon request, contribute to the administrative monitoring of contracts (tracking contractual deadlines, time spent, billing monitoring, etc.

• Holding an Engineering degree in Civil Engineering or Hydraulics, you have 0 to 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Good command of software: Autocad, Mensura, and Epanet
