Chief Accountant | Tanger (Morocco)

We are recruiting for our client, a Chief Accountant in Tangier. This is a unique opportunity to take responsibility for financial and accounting management within a growing company.

Your role will be central in supervising and optimizing accounting processes, ensuring the reliability of financial information, and actively contributing to the company's strategy. You will be the cornerstone of compliance and financial performance.

Your main tasks will include supervising account keeping, preparing financial statements in compliance with current standards, and analyzing financial performance. You will also lead periodic closings, treasury management, and ensure communication with auditors and tax authorities. You will participate in budget preparation and monitoring. Furthermore, managing and developing the accounting team will be an integral part of your responsibilities.

Holder of a Master's degree (Bac+5) in Accounting/Finance.

7 years of professional experience is required. This experience must have been gained in the industrial sector, allowing you to perfectly master the challenges of corporate accounting.

Beyond your technical expertise in accounting and taxation, a good level of English is required.
