You drive revenue growth beyond the core and current customers. You are responsible of identifying potential customers/channels, initiating relationship and working the whole process of integrating them into Mondelez business.


How you will contribute


You will:


  • Research and identify potential customers using various prospecting tools, databases, and market intelligence to build targeted prospect lists
  • Generate new business opportunities for the company (Away from home channels, new customers…)
  • Integrate these customers in the current RTM
  • Develop the right RTM for the new channels/customers
  • Manage winning customer business relationships that facilitate “best in industry” execution of our categories.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders including category, activation team, sales capability and customer finance
  • Fully understand category and insights knowledge, to engage and influence customers to make informed decisions that will grow our categories and deliver our annual plan.
  • Create and manage the annual business plan to deliver agreed KPI’s and targets and provide reporting as required, in line with the joint business plan.
  • Optimize resources to deliver the best profitability in your operations.

What you need to know about this position:


  • Project management is critical for this role, working in multifunctional teams is critical to conclude new deals and penetrate new channels
  • Manage day to day operations to drive executional excellence, deliver operational KPIs, share gain and financial targets
  • Develop monthly scorecards to review with customers and track KPIs
  • Execute customer level growth strategies, ensure timely development of annual contracts, developing relationship to true partnership support by joint business plans, and category management with top customers.

What you need to know about this position:


  • Leadership skills are critical to succeed in this role, resilience is essential
  • Discipline and ownership are key components to build sustainable partnership internally and externally
  • Accountability is highly needed to deliver on agreed KPIs

What extra ingredients you will bring:


  • Ability to define a clear vision and strategy and transformational leadership to drive change
  • Customer facing experience in FMCG
  • Strong communication skills, influencing, negotiation and executive presence

Education / Certifications:


  • Master/Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus

Job specific requirements:


  • Minimum of 5 years of Key accounts experience in Modern Trade/FMCG.
  • Experience in confectionery or food industry is highly desirable.

Travel requirements:


  • Strong filed presence with customers centrally and frequent trade visits in different regions to meet regional teams at customer level. Mobility is required.
