We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including sales reporting, reconciliations, data entry, and assisting in audits and month-end closing processes.
Main Responsibilities:
1.Prepare daily sales and distributor reports, including those related to movie distribution in third-party cinemas.
2.Compile, enter, and post daily data entries and journal entries accurately.
3.Perform monthly reconciliation of supplier and bank accounts.
4.Reconcile daily sales and cash deposits and post petty cash entries.
5.Ensure proper filing and documentation of journal entries in compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
6.Participate in the monthly closing of accounting books as per the defined calendar and schedule.
7.Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation as required.
8.Follow up on event revenues and prepare payments (cheques/transfers) in line with account aging on a monthly basis.
9.Coordinate daily with the Chief Accountant and assist with special projects as needed.
10.Handle inquiries from vendors, auditors, and distributors, providing relevant information and facilitating smooth communication.
11.Perform any other related duties assigned by Line Managers or Top Management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
Experience:
•0–2 years of experience in the accounting field
