الوصف الوظيفي

The Ob Gyn Consultant plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to women throughout their reproductive lives. This position involves diagnosing and treating various conditions related to women's health, including pregnancy, childbirth, and gynecological disorders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care. As part of a dynamic healthcare team, the Ob Gyn Consultant will work closely with nurses, midwives, and other specialists to ensure the highest standards of care are met.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients to determine their health status.
  2. Diagnose and treat a variety of obstetric and gynecological conditions.
  3. Provide prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care to expectant mothers.
  4. Perform surgical procedures as required, including cesarean sections and hysterectomies.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  6. Educate patients on reproductive health, family planning, and preventive care.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  8. Stay current with advancements in obstetrics and gynecology through continuous education.
  9. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  10. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Strong clinical skills and experience in obstetrics and gynecology. with MOH License
  2. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  3. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  4. Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
  5. Proficient in using medical software and electronic health records.
  6. Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
  7. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  8. Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  9. Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
  10. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
