Furniture Designer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Expertise in AutoCAD (2D/3D); knowledge of SketchUp, SolidWorks, or other rendering software is a plus.
• Ensure all drawings comply with Factory standards, material specifications, and client requirements.
• Review and modify designs based on feedback from Customer side and Production teams.
• Own your product design from start to finish, all operational stages deliverables. (Drawing, Presentations, Material selection, BOQ and waste control).
• Select and specify furniture, fabrics, materials, and finishes for high-end products.
• Responding to enquiries & quotation requests, providing and maintaining high clientele satisfaction.
• Develop creative concepts for furniture pieces based on client requirements, market trends, and functional considerations.
• Your responsibilities will range from client front-ending, brief understanding, Product costing, quotations, and validation to design manufacturing development and coordination from concept to Production to installation stages.
• Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills to work closely with our design and sales teams.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Architecture, or Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 4-5 years of Kuwait/GCC experience as a Furniture Designer in the Household & Interior Furniture products.
• Knowledge in estimation, costing and BOQ preparation.
• Consider ergonomics, materials, and manufacturing processes during the design phase.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and design intent accurately.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
