Optimiza is seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to lead and enhance our cybersecurity initiatives.
In this senior role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced security strategies, managing complex security projects, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and solutions.
Conduct in-depth risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and security audits to identify potential threats and areas for improvement.
Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
Manage incident response processes, ensuring timely detection, containment, and remediation of security incidents.
Stay informed on the latest cybersecurity trends, threat landscapes, and regulatory requirements to keep the organization ahead of emerging risks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, risk management, and compliance to integrate security into all business processes.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior cybersecurity staff, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing within the team.
Represent the cybersecurity function in executive meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
Class A Health Insurance Annual Bonus Training and Development Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
4+ years of comprehensive experience in cybersecurity roles with a focus on strategy, risk management, and incident handling.
Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, and others.
Proven experience in leading cybersecurity projects and managing incident response.
Strong expertise in threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and security technologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Relevant advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly preferred.
