 We are looking for a Loan Specialist Agent to join our growing team! 

Job Objectives:

The Loan Specialist is responsible for managing and converting assigned loan leads into successful funded accounts. This includes guiding clients through loan application processes, pitching debt consolidation solutions, reviewing loan terms, and ensuring documentation compliance. The role demands high communication and organizational skills, ethical judgment, and a proactive approach to delivering excellent client outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and duties:

1. Sales Pipeline Management

• Proactively manage an assigned book of loan leads and applications.

• Identify and follow up with potential loan candidates, including incomplete or pre-approved clients.

• Track and update case statuses throughout the sales funnel.

2. Loan Pitch & Client Consultation

• Explain early graduation debt consolidation loan benefits compared to existing settlement programs.

• Present loan options clearly and help clients understand how it aligns with their financial goals.

• Review loan terms and conditions with clients post-approval to ensure full understanding.

3. Application Management & Compliance

• Process loan applications accurately and review client documentation for compliance.

• Spot inconsistencies or ineligible debts and remove them from the loan program when necessary.

• Maintain a high level of accuracy in all records and ensure policy compliance throughout.

4. Communication & Customer Support

• Respond promptly to internal requests and client outreach via SMS, calls, and email.

• Demonstrate empathy, active listening, and professionalism in all interactions.

• Assist clients with changes such as draft increases or payment updates.

5. Deal Finalization & Documentation

• Guide clients through signing the loan contract and finalize documentation.

• Review and confirm all contractual terms before submission.

• Ensure a seamless transition into the funding or graduation phase.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is a minimum requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field “is a plus”.

Years of Experience: 

1–2 years of experience in loan processing, financial services, or a customer-facing sales role.

Competencies / Behavioral Requirements:

• Excellent verbal communication skills in English.

• Client-centric with strong empathy and listening skills.

• Highly organized, able to multitask and meet deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail with ethical judgment and confidentiality awareness.

• Goal-driven and comfortable handling high-volume pipelines.

Technical Requirements:

• Familiarity with loan processing systems and CRM platforms.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook).

• Comfortable working with digital forms and remote communication tools.
