The DevOps Engineer is responsible for building, automating, and maintaining the infrastructure and deployment pipelines that power our platforms.
This role ensures high availability, security, scalability, and performance across all environments (development, staging, production).
Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Management Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Manage servers, networking, storage, and container orchestration.
Maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Ensure environment consistency across Dev, Staging, and Production.
CI/CD & Automation Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Automate build, test, and deployment processes.
Reduce manual deployment steps and improve release reliability.
Integrate automated testing and security checks into pipelines.
Reliability & Monitoring Ensure system uptime and high availability.
Implement monitoring and alerting systems (e.
g., New Relic, Datadog, Prometheus).
Monitor production performance and error rates.
Lead incident response and support root cause analysis (RCA).
Security & Compliance Implement infrastructure security best practices.
Manage access control, secrets, and environment variables.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and patch management.
Ensure compliance with internal and industry security standards.
Performance & Scalability Optimize infrastructure cost and performance.
Design scalable architectures to handle traffic spikes.
Plan capacity based on growth projections.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Backend, Mobile, QA, and Data teams.
Support developers in improving deployment efficiency.
Align infrastructure with product roadmap requirements.
Technical Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.
). Docker & Kubernetes.
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Linux systems administration.
Monitoring & logging tools.
Basic scripting (Bash, Python).
Behavioral Ownership mindset.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure (incident handling).
Clear technical communication.
