Techno-Functional Automation Engineer - Python

Project description The role is required to support QA automation and regression testing activities for the Markets platform. You will work closely with the QA and development teams to automate regression scenarios, support release validation, and ensure stability of the trading platform. Responsibilities Strong Python programming and automation scripting experience Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium with Python, PyTest, or Robot Framework Execute and support regression testing cycles Build and enhance test automation frameworks Validate releases and support QA test cycles Work with BA, Dev, and QA teams to understand requirements and prepare automated test coverage Ensure quality and stability of releases Strong experience with SQL and database testing. Experience working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.) Skills Must have Required 3 to 4 years of strong experience in Python automation Experience in QA automation frameworks Hands-on experience in regression testing Understanding of SDLC / STLC processes Experience in capital markets, investment banking, or the payments domain Experience with Git or other version control systems Experience managing and maintaining automated regression test suites Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and manage testing responsibilities end-to-end Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Nice to have Banking / Capital Markets domain knowledge Exposure to Murex or trading platforms Experience in automation within financial systems Experience Required Other Languages English: B2 Upper Intermediate Seniority Regular
