We are looking for a Technical Lead to take end-to-end ownership of platform development. This role blends deep technical leadership, agile execution, and people development, ensuring scalable, high-quality solutions while driving engineering excellence. The individual will also play a pivotal role in enhancing engineering productivity through modern tooling, adoption of GenAI capabilities, and fostering a strong culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include: Platform Development & Technical Ownership • Own the delivery of platform components end-to-end collaborating with various consumers/subsystems • Drive scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions aligned with business needs in co-ordination with Architects and cross functional teams. • Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, coding standards, and design principles • Lead technical decision-making, risk mitigation, and issue resolution Engineering Excellence & Innovation • Drive engineering productivity through adoption of modern development tools and frameworks • Champion GenAI-driven development practices (e.g., code generation, automation, quality improvement) • Establish metrics for engineering effectiveness (quality, velocity, cycle time, etc.) • Promote a culture of continuous integration, testing, and delivery (CI/CD) • Encourage reusability, modular design, and platform/PLE thinking Agile Leadership (Scrum Master Role) • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives) • Ensure effective backlog management and prioritization in collaboration with Product Owners • Identify and remove impediments to team progress • Drive continuous improvement in Agile maturity and team efficiency • Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration 4. People Management & Team Development • Mentor and coach team members to enhance technical depth and ownership mindset • Support career development, succession planning, and skill-building initiatives • Build a high performing, engaged, and inclusive team environment • Drive knowledge sharing and retention, especially in evolving/transitioning teams Your qualification To be successful in this role, your profile includes: B.E./B.Tech./master’s degree in computer science, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in software development and system architecture, with strong involvement in complex product or system environments. Proficiency in various software development technologies and platforms, including C++, C#, .NET ecosystem, WPF, containerization (Docker), Agentic AI concepts, Azure DevOps (ADO) etc. Proven ability to provide technical leadership, willing to be hands-on and contribute to backlogs. Experience in system-level troubleshooting, diagnostics, with awareness of various tools. Solid understanding of product lifecycle management and software engineering processes, particularly in regulated environments. Proven experience in building, leading, and mentoring teams Experience collaborating with cross-functional and global teams, including R&D, systems engineering, quality and other stakeholders. Familiarity with Siemens Healthineers products/solutions and X-ray technologies is an added advantage. ? Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts and architecture decisions to technical teams and leadership.
