We are looking for Tech Bid Manager (Rolling Stock) In this role with Siemens Mobility (SMO), you will report to the Head of Bids (Rolling Stock) and work closely with all disciplines within the Rolling Stock and the wider business to ensure high quality bids in line with bid management processes. You’ll make a difference by You will be responsible to lead bid management for Indian Railways & Metro Rolling Stock orders incl. EMU, MEMU, Trainsets, Locomotives, Metros etc. falling under Rolling Stock Business Unit Lead the entire bid lifecycle from opportunity qualification to final submission Develop and maintain the bid strategy, win themes, and value propositions Prepare bid plans, schedules, and submission checklists Ensure full compliance with customer RFP/RFQ/ITT requirements Act as the single point of contact for bid activities Coordinate inputs from engineering, rolling stock design, manufacturing, procurement, finance, legal, quality, RAMS, and project management Ensure alignment between technical solutions, delivery schedules, and life cycle costs Identify, assess, and manage technical, commercial, contractual, and schedule risks Ensure compliance with company governance, export controls, and ethics requirements Coordinate clarifications, deviations, and contractual negotiations Oversee production of technical proposals, commercial offers, schedules, compliance matrices, and executive summaries Desired Skills: You should have relevant experience of 10 years in Bid Management function preferably in Railway / Metro Rolling stock domain You have sound commercial understanding along with risk management skills. You have good communication and collaboration skills You have managed multiple Rolling Stock / components / Signaling bids from Indian Railways / Metro organization in the past You have good understanding of the way in which Rolling Stock bids are managed Join us and be yourself!
