In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Technical Architect specializing in Cloud Platforms, you will design and architect cloud-based solutions across multiple platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design tailored cloud solutions, optimizing compute, storage, and network design for efficient automation. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Design Cloud Solutions: Design and architect cloud-based solutions across multiple platforms, including Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, AWS, Red Hat OpenShift, and Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization, tailoring them to meet specific business requirements. * Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and design tailored cloud solutions that meet business needs, ensuring optimal compute, storage, and network design for efficient automation. * Implement Automation Configurations: Design and implement automation configurations using various tools to optimize cloud solutions. * Stay Current with New Features: Stay updated with new features in respective platforms and technologies to continuously improve cloud solutions. * Develop Robust Cloud Solutions: Design, develop, and implement robust cloud solutions that are scalable, reliable, and secure.

Required technical and professional expertise

* Cloud Architecture Expertise: Experience with designing and architecting cloud-based solutions across multiple platforms, including Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, AWS, Red Hat OpenShift, and Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization. * Cloud Services Proficiency: Deep proficiency in cloud services and relevant operating systems, with the ability to design and implement automation configurations using various tools. * Technical Solution Design: Experience in designing tailored cloud solutions that meet specific business requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. * Automation Configuration: Experience with designing and implementing automation configurations to optimize cloud solutions, including compute, storage, and network design. * Emerging Technologies: Experience with staying updated with new features in respective platforms and technologies to continuously improve cloud solutions.

Preferred technical and professional experience

* Cloud Security Knowledge: Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks to design and implement secure cloud solutions. * Multi-Cloud Expertise: Experience with multiple cloud platforms, including Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, AWS, Red Hat OpenShift, and Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization, to design and architect cloud-based solutions. * Automation Tools Familiarity: Experience with various automation tools to design and implement automation configurations for cloud solutions.
