Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Systems Engineer to join our Information and Communications Technology (ICT) infrastructure and operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert technical advice, troubleshooting complex enterprise problems, and maintaining the health of our production systems and IT inventory. You will join a dedicated team focused on delivering high-quality technical support and ensuring a seamless customer experience for both internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

• System Maintenance and Administration: Monitor the ticketing system to execute requests for onboarding, offboarding, and usage standards while maintaining virtual and physical IT inventory and repairing failed devices.

  
  

• Operational Reliability: Monitor system health and perform vulnerability remediation, patching, and capacity management to ensure disruptions are minimized and infrastructure remains secure.

  
  

• Technical Support Collaboration: Provide first and second-level support to customers, collaborating with global teams as needed to resolve hardware and software malfunctions.

  
  

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

• 4-9 years of experience in technical operations or systems engineering functions, including implementation, verification, and system operation.

  
  

• Strong knowledge of local area networks, server installations, and various computing platforms such as Nutanix, VMware, and Microsoft SQL Server.

  
  

• Proven ability in problem-solving and maintaining operating systems, specifically Linux and Microsoft Server, within a 24-hour operational support environment.

  
  

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Sciences or a related field preferred.
