Sr. Principal Engineer - Process Design

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The Senior Principal Engineer is part of the hierarchical organization, reporting directly to the Team Manager. The Senior Principal Engineer should have a strong ability in chemical Engineering application with an emphasis on safe, compliant, reliable, efficient and practical solutions required for the engineering design and execution of proposals and projects. Candidates shall possess strong flair for Cryotechnology specifically related to the Air separation unit.
This role acts as the discipline lead engineer & process expert for various proposals and projects and is responsible to deliver the work within contractual framework, quality, and schedule .

In this role, you will be responsible for

• • Executing & reviewing the process documents mainly attributed to ASU technology.

    
    

  • Reviewing process simulation tools, column hydraulics , equipment sizing etc.

    
    

  • Improving engineering practices based on data-driven insights.

    
    

  • Solving complex engineering problems with innovative solutions with a troubleshooting and Team work mindset.

    
    

  • Lead training programs for designers, engineers, and senior engineers 

    
    

Project Execution:

• • Ensuring project compliance with all technical and contractual requirements.

    
    

  • Managing project scope, schedule, and budget effectively.

    
    

  • Coordinating interdisciplinary reviews and validations.

    
    

  • Reviewing and approving vendor documents.

    
    

  • Providing technical support during site inspections/ commissioning.

    
    

  • Estimating man-hour calculations

Education

• MTech /ME , BTech / BE - Chemical
• Discipline: Chemical Engineering

Experience:

• 5 yrs (min) experience in  air separation unit as process design engineer  OR 8 years (min) experience in an Engineering organization working as Lead process design e Candidates shall have relevant experience in licensor, EPC or Detail design engineering company with strong interest in working for ASU/ Cryo technology / 8 yrs experience in cryogenic engineering environment.
