Sr Manager Regional Sourcing

An Ideal Candidate:

As part of the Strategic Global Sourcing group, the Regional Sourcing Manager (RSM) acts as a liaison between suppliers and us. The position supports the technical/sourcing/performance improvement of the supply base within the designated region. Working closely with other key functional representatives of the company from Procurement, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Operations and Product Development, the role seeks to ensure the company’s global supply base is effectively serving internal and external customer needs through Supplier focused identification, qualification, performance, and compliance to the company’s standards. 

Key Competencies:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems)

- Line operations experience working in a production or supply chain environment: Production supervision, materials, sourcing, distribution, logistics, planning, quality, or service

- Experience working with international companies and in matrix organizations

- Experience in demand flow principles and fulfillment methodologies

- Demonstrated understanding of financial measurements and goals in the lean enterprise

- Strong project leadership experience with a diversity of team skills
