Sr. Engineer - Software

What you’ll do

• Responsible for designing, developing and maintaining software solutions for new and existing Allegion products.
• Work closely with product management to understand requirements and translate them to elegant implementation.
• Collaborate with global teams for product development Peer reviews for code and design
• Contribute towards the continuous improvement of the quality and process
• May provide day-to-day direction and oversight for other employees
• Provide design/architectural solutions for new developments
• Serve as a subject matter expert in the project

What we are looking for

• Expert level in NodeJS, Javascript, and Typescript with CDK.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks
• Relational databases
• Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
• Experience in Agile methodologies
• Strong skills in software design and design patterns
• Experience in different architecture patterns like client-server/serverless computing.
