Your role:

• Own design, developand test software components for patient monitoring within the interoperability and connectivity scope.This includes implementation of a framework to support third party device integration with our patient monitors.

  
  

• Analyze software, functionalrequirements to design and develop high‑qualitysoftware.

  
  

• Write efficient, maintainable code in C++ for embedded Linux systems following best practices and design patterns.

  
  

• Implement unit and component tests and develop automated test suites using GoogleTest (GTest) and Gherkin‑based BDD

  
  

• Participate in an international Scrum team and engage in Scrum rituals, collaborating closely with device interoperability experts, software developers, and architects.

  
  

• Adopt AI-enabled development tools and demonstrate measurable productivity improvements.

  
  

• Support software lifecycle management activities including documentation, sustaining engineering, defect resolution, and platform evolution.

  
  

• Optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks in resource-constrained embedded Linux environments

  
  

You're the right fit if:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related technical field.

  
  

• 5+ year experience in embedded Linux with hands-on with advanced C++ (17/20/23).

  
  

• Good command of object-oriented programming, memory management, multithreading, and performance optimization.  

  
  

• Good to have experience inInteroperability using HL7/FHIR/IEEE 11073 SDC in clinical environments.

  
  

• Experience with technical documentation, code reviews, and compliance with medical software development processes is a plus (e.g., IEC 62304).  

  
  

• Experience with unit testing framework, Python,Gtest,Gherkin, and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) for component testing and automation.

  
  

• Communication protocols - TCP/UDP,HTTP/HTTPS, WebSockets, RS-232 protocol.

  
  

• Security-by-design: Threat modelling, TLS, certificate management, vulnerability management.

  
  

• Tooling: Git, ADO/GitHub, Visual Studio, VS Code,CMake, unit/integration testing, static/dynamic analysis.

  
  

• Nice to have: gRPC/Protobuf, MQTT, Python for tooling/test harnesses, exposure to FDA/EU MDR expectations.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
