UI Developer - Reference Date

• Our team is growing and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a UI developer in Reference Data Technology.
• As a UI Developer, you will be responsible for supporting our users in a high-pressure environment where timeliness and quality are of utmost importance. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in  design, with  experience in Angular and SQL. In addition to technical prowess, the candidate will need to be able to communicate effectively with users and translate their requirements into appropriate solutions.
• This role will involve working on a variety of innovative and challenging projects, and the candidate should be a creative problem solver, attentive to detail, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

• Identify commonly used components and create packages building reusable code
• Work closely with QA and Support teams to ensure high quality software releases and supportability
• Translate UX design into workable angular components
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to reference data technology
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products.
• Document development phases and monitor systems.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience in Angular, Java Script, TypeScript, and SQL.
• Experience working with AGILE/SCRUM methodology.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Master Data Management
• Exposure to AI technologies.
• Exposure to Java/Python is a plus.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

• Hands-on experience with automated testing (unit, performance, integration).
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with users and other teams across different regions.
• Self-motivated and capable of working under pressure.
• Experience working in Financial Services or a Front Office Environment is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with AI developer tools
