Job Description:

• Responsible for designing, developing and maintaining software solutions for new and existing Allegion products.
• Work closely with product management to understand requirements and translate them to elegant implementation.
• Collaborate with global teams for product development
• Peer reviews for code and design
• Contribute towards the continuous improvement of the quality and process
• May provide day-to-day direction and oversight for other employees
• Provide design/architectural solutions for new developments
• Serve as a subject matter expert in the project
   

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• Passionate in full stack development
• Expert level in Java, Spring, and related Java frameworks.
• Messaging systems such as RabbitMQ
• Experience with React Js, HTML, Web sockets and JavaScript
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux).
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Relational database (such as PostgreSQL)
• Experience with GitLab
• Experience in Agile methodologies
• Strong skills in software design, design patterns
• Experience in different architecture patterns like client-server/server less computing.
• Effective written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts.
• Self-directed and able to direct others.
   

Desired Skills & Abilities

• Experience in Microsoft AWS
• Experience with Dockers and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
   

Required Education and/or Experience: 

• BE/B Tech/M Tech/M
• CA/MSc in Computer Science Engineering
• 3 to 6 Years of experience in Software Application Development
