Where is the work

This position has been designated as On-Site Based in Bangalore location.

What will you do

This Position will require significant process expertise related to Fixed Asset & Cash accounting process; Reconciler must ensure that a company's financial balances match the figures in its account ledgers. As a reconciliation specialist, you examine the company's accounting records, review them with banking documentation, and report any discrepancies in the reports. This expert would be first primary contact for the other team members to resolve their doubts & queries in the process.

Also, the position will require significant hands-on process expertise related to shared service center operations, Fixed Asset accounting, hardcore accounting, strong communication skills, business partnering and customer centric/collaborative skills.

• Timely follow-ups on the open items to maintain the clean reconciliation every month.
• Identify areas where controls and procedures can be improved in the preparation of the account reconciliations and propose solutions.
• Posting all the Bank Charges & Interest Journals on monthly basis, recording all the treasury & IC related transactions on time.
• Download all the required Bank Statements on WD1 and save them into the assigned folder.
• Run Auto reconciliation on daily basis also records manually in case any transaction left unreconciled.
• Maintain the Cash Deposit file on daily basis also ensures the cash receipts are recorded on time.
• Record all the Month end related journals without any fail and update the checklist accordingly.
• Review, analyze and process all capital asset disposal and capital asset transfer requests.
• Prepare monthly reconciliation of fixed asset subledger to General Ledger balances for all US and Canadian affiliates.
• Assist in preparation of documentation for internal/external audit requests and SOX compliance data requests.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of fixed asset subledger.
• Maintain and close Asset Management
• Respond on all the adhoc queries withing the TAT assigned.
• Active participation on running any Project which add quality to the process.
• Would Provide Support to the team on any kind of issues or adhoc query get raised.

Qualifications: 
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
