Designation: Senior CAD/BIM Technician, Ports and Maritime, India

Job Purpose:

The principal function of this role is to undertake Computer Aid Design (CAD) for drawing production for the Ports & Maritime Team.

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

The Senior CAD/BIM technician will report to the Lead Engineer, GID Team, Mumbai. He/she will be required to self-check his/her work and ensure the flawless drawings prepared are as per company standards.

• Drawing production for the Ports and Maritime Team
• Preparation of coastal engineering drawings
• Preparation of Marine structure drawings
• Potential support with preparing drawings related to utilities and roads preferable 
• Estimating quantities from drawings

Here's what you'll need

Requirements/Qualifications/Experience:

• Greater than 10 years’ experience is preferred
• Knowledge of Project wise platform, MicroStation and BIM 360 is necessary 
• Should be proficient in use of AutoCAD software.
• Experience Either Revit or Civil 3D is also required
• Marine works experience is required
• Experience with reinforced concrete detailing
• Experience with structural steel drawings
• Good communications skills
• Willing to learn and develop.
