We are looking for Senior System Engineer- Diagnostics You’ll make a difference by As a Senior System Engineer – Vehicle Diagnostics and Service exchange server, you will be responsible developing and maintaining diagnostic and data analysis platform for our innovative rail vehicles. Your task, and responsibilities are as follows: You work in engineering team for our Metro projects. Creating technical architecture and design concepts for diagnostic function. You gather software requirements, analyse, structure them, and create solution concepts. As a result of your work, you create finished system architectures for data remote transmission. Integrate and develop external devices to vehicle control for diagnostics management and landside communication. Familiarity with Linux shell environments and command-line operations. Support and advise other engineers and stakeholders throughout the development process. You carry out software integration and testing, ensuring functionality on the vehicle. You should be able to implement upgradation / new work of application software with end-to-end responsibility using V model approach. Create Interface documents for various train interfaces between TCMS, Train IT etc. Conduct field testing during commissioning and ensure system is workable Support during warranty issues. Desired Skills: We are looking for candidates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, electronics, computer science or a comparable qualification. Minimum of 7-8 years of professional experience with minimum 5 years in rolling stock project experience along with vehicle diagnostics and integration with other subsystems in technical development projects distinguishes you. Good understanding of standards such as IEC 50128, IEC 61131, IEC 61375 etc. Possess in-depth knowledge of the Train Communication Network protocol and demonstrate proficiency in diagnosing and resolving related communication issues. You have basic knowledge in requirement engineering, configuration, and change request management. Design/System engineering experience is pre-requisite and must. Familiarity with C++ and Python for structured and OOP development on Linux is an advantage. You should demonstrate strong teamwork and be able to guide peers to bring out the required results Work Environment: Hybrid work model available after initial probation period of 6 months Collaboration with global teams Travel may be required (10-20%) depending upon requirement.
