This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 2500000 - Rs 2800000 (ie INR 25 - 28 LPA) Min Experience: 7+ years Location: Hyderabad JobType: full-time We are seeking a high-performing Software Development Engineer to design, build, and scale transformative internal tools and external software solutions for a global e-commerce and merchant services platform.
This role operates at the absolute cutting edge of technology, building new products from scratch and enhancing core systems by integrating cloud computing, large-scale distributed backends, and agentic AI architectures.

Build Core Distributed Backend Systems: Own end-to-end software development lifecycle pipelines to construct high-throughput, highly resilient distributed systems capable of processing massive global request volumes.
Productize Applied Science Models: Collaborate intimately with Applied Science and Machine Learning research teams to integrate highly complex AI models into reliable, production-ready software features.
Cross-Functional System Execution: Partner closely with global Product Managers and technical stakeholders to translate high-level business requirements into executable technical roadmaps and clean software architectures.
Candidate Qualifications ● 7 to 10 years of relevant software engineering experience with a proven track record in a Senior or Lead engineer capacity.
● Geographic & Work Requirement: Must be currently based in Hyderabad (or prepared to relocate immediately) with the ability to work fully on-site from the client's Hyderabad office.
● Technical Depth: Strong software engineering background with extensive experience building and scaling highly resilient distributed backend web applications.
● Hands-on AI Delivery: Proven delivery experience implementing Generative AI frameworks into production software environments.
● Drive & Curiosity: Strong technical curiosity with a passion for experimenting with and deploying the latest advancements in LLM technology and autonomous agent ecosystems.
