Job Description:
ServiceNow Technical Consultant – Governance, Risk & Compliance (SecOps)
Job Summary
·Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) applications
·Implement and customize Vulnerability Response, Security Incident Response, and Threat Intelligence modules
·Integrate ServiceNow SecOps with security tools (e.g., scanners, SIEM, EDR, SOAR platforms)
·Build workflows, Flow Designer logic, business rules, scripts, UI policies, and dashboards
·Customize data models, forms, reports, and performance analytics for security use cases
·Automate risk scoring, vulnerability prioritization, and remediation workflows
·Support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and data imports
·Collaborate with security analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
·Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow best practices, performance standards, and security controls
·Support platform upgrades, patching, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
·3+ years of ServiceNow development experience
·Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SecOps modules
·Strong scripting skills in JavaScript (Glide API, Script Includes, Business Rules)
·Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and REST APIs
·Understanding of cybersecurity concepts: vulnerabilities, incidents, threat intelligence, CVSS, risk scoring
·Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party security tools
·Ability to work closely with security and IT teams in an agile environment
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
·ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS – SecOps, CAD)
·Experience with GRC, IR, or VR implementations
·Familiarity with security tools such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Splunk, CrowdStrike, or similar
·Experience with Performance Analytics and custom dashboards
·Knowledge of ITSM, CMDB, and asset management within ServiceNow
