Senior Network Security EngineerExperience6–8 YearsLocation[Location Name]Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in Network Security, Cloud Security, Secure Web Gateway, ZTNA, and Network Detection & Response (NDR) technologies. The candidate should have hands-on experience in implementing, managing, and troubleshooting security solutions such as Zscaler, NDR platforms, Firewalls, Proxy, VPN, and SIEM tools.The ideal candidate will be responsible for security operations, incident analysis, infrastructure hardening, policy management, and security enhancement initiatives across enterprise environments.Key Responsibilities
Manage and support enterprise Network Security infrastructure.
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Zscaler solutions including:
ZIA (Zscaler Internet Access)
ZPA (Zscaler Private Access)
DLP policies
SSL inspection
URL filtering
Cloud firewall policies
Handle Network Detection & Response (NDR) solutions for threat monitoring and anomaly detection.
Perform security event analysis, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.
Manage firewall policies, VPN access, IPS/IDS, web proxy, and NAC solutions.
Coordinate with SOC, Infrastructure, and Application teams for security incidents and changes.
Conduct security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance activities.
Support security audits, risk assessments, and governance requirements.
Prepare SOPs, RCA reports, and technical documentation.
Participate in security enhancement and transformation projects.
Provide L3 support and technical guidance to junior engineers.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience in Zscaler technologies.
Experience with NDR tools such as:
Darktrace
ExtraHop
Vectra AI
Corelight
Knowledge of Firewall technologies:
Palo Alto
Fortinet
Check Point
Cisco ASA/FTD
Good understanding of:
TCP/IP
Routing & Switching
DNS, DHCP
VPN technologies
Proxy & Web Security
Experience with SIEM tools like:
Splunk
QRadar
Microsoft Sentinel
Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and SSE/SASE concepts.
Experience in incident response and threat hunting.
Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

CCNP Security
PCNSE
CEH / CISSP / CISM
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT, or related field.

Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in 24x7 support environment if required.
Experience handling enterprise-scale security environment
