We are seeking a talented individual to join our Tech Team, a Marsh business. This role will be based in Pune/Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Requires strong leadership and technical knowledge in ServiceNow Python, Power Automate, REST API development, and internal development tools. The Team Leader will also matrix-manage a small group of citizen developers working on ServiceNow within the broader Colleague Technology organization.
Reporting to the Product Director, the role will directly manage a small team of developers based in Tech Hubs. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of team leadership or management experience, a solid understanding of development methodologies, REST APIs, and functional knowledge of large language models (LLMs). Experience with ITIL workflows and support processes is highly desirable. Understands and coordinates potential dependencies across solution design, development, testing, deployment, support, and maintenance activities, ideally supporting an AI Bot built on a LLM, plus integration with other ITSM and Knowledge platforms.
We will count on you to:
- Lead and mentor a small development team focused on the AskLen Moveworks bot, ensuring delivery of high-quality, innovative AI solutions.
- Develop, code, test, and debug software programs with a focus on building experience APIs using REST APIs, data aggregation, and string formatting.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of integration patterns, best practices, and adherence to the organization’s change management and security policies.
- Work independently on the design and development of technical modules, driving innovation and efficiency in solutions.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving code problems, contributing to the stability and quality of the AI Bot built on a large language model.
- Provide high-level technical support to clients, addressing existing issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Support help desk operations by monitoring trends from support calls and informing senior team members about system performance and potential improvements.
- Serve as a technical resource for analysts and team members, sharing expertise on system configurations, API management, and enterprise automation tools such as iPaaS, APIM, and RPA.
- Oversee the development lifecycle, applying best practices in software development methodologies and ensuring effective use of Python, Power Automate, and REST APIs.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience and 2-3years of people management
- Matrix-manage citizen developers working on ServiceNow initiatives, fostering collaboration and alignment across the Colleague Technology organization.
- Collaborate with the team to develop comprehensive project plans, communicate software development strategies clearly, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Director in the USA to align team objectives with product strategy and business goals.
- Manage and support the team’s operational processes, including ITIL workflows and support escalation procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement in development practices, team performance, and cross-functional communication.
- Monitor project progress, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure timely and cost-effective outcomes.
