This role is for one of Weekday’s clients Salary range: Rs 600000 - Rs 900000 (ie INR 6 - 9 LPA) Min Experience: 3+ years Location: Nagpur JobType: full-time Hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own our core product end-to-end and lead a small team of engineers as we scale.
You'll work closely with the founder on product direction, set technical standards, and ship features that reach farmers at scale.
This is a hands-on leadership role, and you'll still write code daily while mentoring and unblocking the team.
Candidates with a background or roots in agriculture or a rural environment are preferred.
Key Responsibilities Own architecture and delivery across the stack — backend services, web, and APIs powering our mobile and web products.
Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of SDEs: code reviews, technical direction, sprint planning, and hiring.
Partner directly with the founder to translate product goals into technical roadmaps and shippable releases.
Build and integrate AI-native features (LLM-powered tooling, recommendation/automation systems) into the product.
Design scalable, reliable backend systems and REST APIs; handle data modeling, caching, and performance at the scale of 1 lakh+ users.
Set up and maintain CI/CD, deployment, and basic observability/monitoring.
Make pragmatic build-vs-buy and architecture decisions appropriate to a resource-conscious startup.
Qualifications 3+ years of full-stack engineering experience, ideally at an early-stage startup.
Proven experience leading or managing a team of software engineers.
Strong across both backend and frontend/web; comfortable owning a feature from database to UI.
Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM APIs or building AI-driven features ("AI-native" comfort).
Solid grasp of REST API design, data modeling, state management, and performance optimization.
Experience shipping and operating production level mobile applications at scale.
Proficient with Git and modern CI/CD workflows.
Based in or willing to work from Nagpur.
