About the IoT team

We are a supportive, quality-driven group of tech enthusiasts who strive to improve daily and are eager to assist you on your journey with us! Our global team includes members from India and Germany, collaborating via Microsoft Teams, Jira, and Confluence. We are aiming to provide a platform that accelerates IoT adoption for operational excellence, customer experience, and employee safety. We built a global platform that processes data from millions of connected devices across DHL and are developing modular use cases for real-time shipment monitoring (e.g. for life science and healthcare shipments) and actionable insights.

Tech stack

Our IoT platform is built on Microsoft Azure, featuring a micro-services architecture and Azure DevOps for continuous integration and delivery, utilizing Docker and Kubernetes. We primarily use .NET Core, C#, and Angular for coding.

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer in our IoT team who does both product development (we also do something with AI ) where you will have an opportunity to directly impact customer experience in DHL as well as support existing IoT use case implementations.

What do we expect from you?

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong portfolio of projects
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Individual with positive energy and can-do attitude
• A desire to grow and continuously improve in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge in .NET Core and C#
• Strong code-reading skills and knack for writing clean, testable, easily maintainable code
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud PaaS services
• Extensive knowledge in Entity Framework Core
• Experience in MS SQL Server
• Very good written and spoken English

Good to have:

• Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Kubernetes Service
• Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the syste
