Role Purpose

TheSeniorData Quality Specialistis accountable fordesigning and building Data Quality rules within Informatica IDMC, ensuring that critical data assets areaccurate, complete, consistent, and fit for both business and regulatory use.

Operating at an enterprise and global level, this role partners closely with Data Governance,Data Stewards,Master Data Management (MDM), Data Engineering, Analytics, and business teams to improve trust in data, enable effectivedecision‑making, and supportHaleon’sdigital transformation and complianceobjectives.

Taking requirements from Data Stewards and MDM teams, turn these into design specifications for Informatica IDMC, then build and deploy the DQ rules.

Key responsibilities:

Enterprise Data Quality Strategy & Standards

• Define,maintain, and evolveenterprise data quality frameworks, principles, and methodologieswithin Informatica IDMC Data Quality.

  
  
  

• Establishthedesignstandardsand patternsfor building Data Quality rules

  
  
  

• Ensure consistent application of data quality practices acrossthe IDMCplatform

  
  
  

Data Quality technical

• Own and managethe design and build of Data Quality rules in Informatica IDMC 

  
  
  

• Collaborate with the Data Stewards, Governance, MDM & engineering teams on requirements and turn into design specs

  
  
  

• Monitor trends,identifysystemic issues, and drive continuous improvementwithin the IDMC platform.

  
  
  

Stakeholder &Cross‑FunctionalLeadership

• Act as a senior data qualitytechnicalleader, partnering with:

• Data Governance and MDM teams

  
  
  

• Data Engineering, Platforms, and Analytics teams

  
  
  

• Risk, Compliance, Quality, and Security functions

  
  
  

Governance, Risk & Audit Readiness

• Ensure robust data quality controls are in place forcritical and regulated processes.

  
  
  

• Support internal and external audits throughdocumented standards, controls, metrics, and remediation actions.

  
  
  

• Contribute to enterprise governance forums and risk management activities related to data.

  
  
  

Capability Building & Maturity

• Provide functional leadership for theData Quality capability, driving maturity and consistency across the organisation.

  
  
  

• Define roadmap initiatives to enhance tools, processes, and operating models.

  
  
  

• Mentor and enable data quality practitioners across the enterprise.

  
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• 5+ years of deepexpertiseinenterprise data quality management frameworks and best practices. 

  
  
  

• Strong understanding of data governance, data lifecycle management, and regulated data environments. 

  
  
  

• Structuredproblem‑solvingand analytical skills, with the ability to translate complexity intopragmatic business outcomes. 

  
  
  

• Strong communicationskills, able tooperateeffectively with both technical andnon‑technicalaudiences

  
  
  

• Informatica IDMC certifications in Data Quality and integration

  
  
  

• High level Data Analysis skills using multiple technologies from Excel, SQL, to IDMC profiling and DQ

  
  
  

Experience Required:

Operating atenterprise scale, with accountability across multiple data domains and global stakeholders

Extensive experience indata quality, data governance, or enterprise data roles, ideally within regulated organisations.
