Senior Automation Engineer

As part of the Project Team working on Automation, the candidate is required to work closely with the Automations solution architect in identifying & implementing process improvement initiatives.

Job Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Should have in-depth knowledge in various stages of SDLC.

  
  
  

• Hands on experience in requirement gathering, analyzing, developing, and testing a bot.

  
  
  

• Design the components for future state, get it reviewed and signed off by solution Architect.

  
  
  

• Automate business processes based on specified design using selected tools.

  
  
  

• Performing Proof of Concepts for feasibility analysis for the proposed automated solution

  
  
  

• Ability to translate business requirements and technical requirements into technical design.

  
  
  

• Feasibility study and identifying the gaps.

  
  
  

• To analyze business requirements for developing functional and non-functional system requirements

  
  
  

• Ability to deliver within estimated timelines.

  
  
  

• Participating in peer review process of codes adhering to design

  
  
  

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in technical/related field

  
  
  

• 5-8 years related experience in lieu of degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

  
  
  

SKILLS

• Strong hands-on experience with UiPath Automation across the end-to-end RPA lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment, and support).

  
  
  

• Hands-on experience with REFramework and building scalable, reusable automation components.

  
  
  

• Hands-on experience on RE Framework, Document Understanding etc.

  
  
  

• Solid understanding and practical exposure to Agentic Automation concepts, including:

  
  
  

  • Copilot agents

    
    
    

  • Agent orchestration

    
    
    

  • Human-in-the-loop and autonomous agent patterns

    
    
    

• Experience building and integrating AI-powered automation solutions using:

  
  
  

  • UiPath AI Center

  • Modern AI agents and cognitive workflows

    
    
    

• Orchestrator knowledge is plus

  
  
  
  

• VBA Knowledge is mandatory

  
  
  

• Working knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) is an added advantage.

  
  
  

• Programming knowledge in Python, with the ability to build scripts, APIs, and AI integrations is an added advantage.

  
  
  

• Good understanding of SQL databases, queries, and data handling for automation use cases.

  
  
  

• Exposure to Finance & Accounting processes and enterprise-scale automation programs.

  
  
  

• Prior experience with POCs, feasibility analysis, and solution design reviews.

  
  
  

• Ability to collaborate closely with Solution Architects on complex automation and agent orchestration designs.
