5 - 8 LPA) Min Experience: 4 years Location: NOIDA JobType: full-time We seek a meticulous Senior Accountant with 4 to 5 years of experience in e-commerce startups or major platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, Shopify, and others.
The ideal candidate will have collaborated closely with founders or leadership teams and possess strong expertise in accounting operations, compliance, and financial workflows specific to e-commerce, including both marketplace and D2C models.
Key Responsibilities Oversee complete accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and the closing processes at month-end and year-end Prepare and evaluate financial statements, MIS reports, cash flow statements, and financial forecasts Ensure timely submission of GST, TDS, and other statutory filings while maintaining compliance with Indian regulations Collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies Manage inventory accounting, returns, settlements, and revenue recognition across multiple e-commerce platforms Develop and enhance internal controls, accounting systems, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and financial workflows Partner with operations, marketing, and supply chain teams to guarantee financial accuracy Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Work closely with founders and leadership on strategic financial decision-making Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CA Intermediate or MBA in Finance preferred) 4–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within e-commerce companies or online marketplace environments In-depth knowledge of D2C and marketplace accounting, including payment gateways, commission structures, and platform fee deductions Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or equivalent tools Advanced skills in Excel with the ability to analyze financial data effectively Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements in India Experience collaborating directly with founders or senior leadership What We Offer An opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing e-commerce brand with direct involvement in strategic decisions alongside founders.
