As a Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and defining the overall cloud security framework and architecture to align with organizational objectives and performance standards. This role includes thorough documentation of the cloud security controls implemented and overseeing the smooth transition of these controls into cloud security-managed operations. The position requires continuous evaluation and refinement of security measures to ensure robust protection and compliance within the cloud environment, while coordinating with various stakeholders to maintain alignment with business goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of cloud security strategies that support organizational objectives.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are met.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their understanding of cloud security principles and practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) Tools.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Security Architecture Design.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security frameworks and best practices.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex security requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Experience in documenting security controls and managing their lifecycle within cloud environments.
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and compliance standards relevant to cloud security.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) Tools.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
