Project Role : Scrum Master
Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.
Must have skills : Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Good to have skills : Health Insurance Operations, Agile Project Management, Generative AI

Summary:
As a Scrum Master, your day revolves around fostering a collaborative and efficient environment for software development teams. You facilitate key Agile ceremonies, ensuring that the team remains focused and any obstacles are promptly addressed. Your role involves continuous engagement with team members to support their progress and maintain momentum throughout development cycles. You also track and communicate progress through relevant metrics, helping to align team efforts with project goals and organizational objectives. Your presence ensures that Agile principles are effectively applied, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure smooth workflow.
- Coach and mentor team members to enhance their Agile practices and overall performance.
- Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team's progress and productivity.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering a supportive learning environment.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Good To Have Skills: Health Insurance Operations, Agile Project Management, Generative AI.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks beyond Scaled Agile Framework to adapt to various project needs.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills to effectively lead teams and coordinate across multiple groups.
- Ability to analyze and interpret project metrics to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
- Experience in conflict resolution and problem-solving to maintain a positive and productive team environment.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
