Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a seasoned Salesforce Developer to oversee the design, development, and deployment of enterprise Salesforce solutions. This role involves leading technical teams, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and implementing innovative features that align with organizational goals. The Lead will drive best practices, evaluate new technologies, and ensure the delivery of scalable, reliable, and user-centric Salesforce platforms that support business growth and digital transformation.
Software Requirements
Required Software Proficiency:
Salesforce Lightning Platform (Lightning Components, Flows, Apex) — extensive experience in building and customizing Salesforce solutions
Salesforce DevOps tools: Salesforce CLI, Change Sets, Salesforce DX — proven ability to manage deployments and version control
Development tools: Visual Studio Code, Salesforce Extensions — experience with code editing and debugging
Data management tools: Data Loader, Workbench — proficiency in data imports, exports, and transformations
Integration tools: REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft (or similar) — knowledge of integrating Salesforce with external systems
Preferred Software Skills:
Salesforce Einstein Analytics/Tableau — experience with analytics solutions for data-driven insights
Automation tools: Process Builder, Flow Builder — advanced automation capabilities
Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure — familiarity with deploying Salesforce solutions in cloud environments
Overall Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions that meet technical and business requirements
Manage a team of Salesforce developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback
Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and IT teams to define requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce features
Ensure best practices for code quality, security, and deployment processes are followed across projects
Evaluate new Salesforce features and industry trends; recommend innovations to improve platform efficiency and user experience
Oversee release management, version control, and continuous deployment activities using DevOps tools
Facilitate technical workshops, code reviews, and documentation to promote knowledge sharing and adherence to standards
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize platform configurations for stability and scalability
Technical Skills (By Category)
Programming Languages:
Essential: Apex, SOQL, SOSL, JavaScript — deep expertise in Salesforce programming and customization
Preferred: Java, Python, or other languages for integration and automation tasks
Databases/Data Management:
Experience with Salesforce Data Loader, Data Export/Import, and external database integrations
Cloud Technologies:
Familiarity with deploying and managing Salesforce in clouds like AWS or Azure is a plus
Frameworks and Libraries:
Lightning Web Components, Aura Components — frontend development for Salesforce UI
Integration frameworks like MuleSoft or Dell Boomi for APIs and external data sources
Development Tools and Methodologies:
Salesforce DX, Visual Studio Code, GIT, Agile/Scrum — collaborative development and release pipelines
Security Protocols:
Knowledge of Salesforce security, user access controls, data encryption, and compliance standards
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Salesforce development or related enterprise application development
Proven leadership experience managing Salesforce projects and development teams
Extensive experience designing and customizing Salesforce applications, including integrations with external systems
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and deployment processes
Experience with Salesforce implementation in complex business environments is highly preferred
Day-to-Day Activities
Lead the development and deployment of Salesforce customizations, automation, and integrations
Collaborate with business owners and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into technical solutions
Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and oversee quality assurance activities
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues impacting system availability or performance
Mentor junior developers, conduct technical workshops, and promote Salesforce best practices
Stay updated on Salesforce releases and industry trends; propose relevant improvements for ongoing projects
Document system configurations, custom code, and deployment procedures
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), or equivalent are highly desirable
Demonstrable experience leading large-scale Salesforce implementation projects and managing teams
