Job Scope:

To implement the domestic transportation strategy in the given geographical area in India in line with DSC’s wider strategy. Support the development of new business opportunities and ensure that DSC transport networks can grow in scale and complexity to meet customer requirements. Enable commercial arrangements with subcontractors and ensure compliance with legal requirements for domestic transport operations, while meeting KPIs on cost, profit, and service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage transportation business within the region to meet/exceed budget.
• Develop network and operational capability to meet customer requirements.
• Manage customer-specific KPIs and maintain strong relationships with key domestic transport customers.
• Oversee operations at all sites through site managers/transport teams.
• Provide senior account management leadership for major domestic transport service customers.
• Collaborate with Business Development to support the achievement of growth strategy.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operating standards.
• Manage new business rollout and develop regional strategy to grow/operate business in new territories.
• Review P&L for transport operations and work on achieving targets.
• Ensure effective sub-contractor management and maintain links with the industry.
